Imagine there is no country
There are no boundaries
There are no wars.
There exists Utopia,
Right in the middle of Ethiopia.
We speak different tongues
Yet breathe with the same lungs
See with the same eyes
This Universe, Our precious prize.
Let us remember our lord, Yeshu,
And not quibble over a petty issue,
Embrace our less fortunate brothers
Born to different mothers,
Who are the same as we
Just in a need of more help than me.
With their brothers at their aid,
Distinctions, divisions, fade.
In such a world, we reach a state
Mankind stands at Heaven’s Gate.
The gate that stands on quicksand,
Sand that lies on this land.
